Ladyhawk are closing out a busy couple of weeks with a bang. Yesterday (November 1), the band posted a fast-paced, clip-art-intensive video for No Can Do cut "You Read My Mind," and now the Vancouver rockers are back with another low-budget clip for album track "Sinking Ship."
The vid features a bespectacled dude in a Cosby sweater breaking out skateboard tricks in an abandoned parking lot, among other, uh, scenic locales. While he busts a few tricks off a blast ramp and performs a lengthy manual beside a public garden, it's Ladyhawk drummer Ryan Peters who steals the show, if only because of his questionable driving skills. Let's just say you might want to reconsider asking the guy to pick you and your buggy-bound baby up in his cherry-red pickup.
As previously reported, Ladyhawk wrap their Canadian tour tonight (November 2) at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret.
