It's been an interesting few weeks for the country band formerly known as Lady Antebellum. In the wake of the Black Lives Matter uprising, they announced that they were removing the word "antebellum" — a reference to the pre-Civil War era of American history, when slavery was rampant — from their band name. Then, a veteran Seattle blues singer named Lady A explained that she was frustrated with the band for lifting her moniker without first asking. Now, fortunately, both parties appear to have made peace.

Speaking with CBS News earlier this week, Lady A the blues singer said that she has forgiven Lady A the country trio.
"I accepted that apology and forgive them for that misstep, but at the same time, we need to work to make a better change," she said. "I don't want people out there spewing hate just because they made a misstep. And yes, I was angry about it, but I'm over it now."
In fact, there's a possibility that both parties named Lady A will collaborate in the future. So look for Lady A feat. Lady A to appear on a streaming service near you.
