Toronto songwriter L CON recently signed with Daps Records and released her album The Ballad Project earlier in the fall. Now, she's dropped a video for the album track "In Honour Of."
As you'd expect from an album called The Ballad Project, "In Honour Of" is a slow and sombre number that mixes atmospheric drama with jazzy sweetness. The Mina Sewell Mancuso-directed clip sets an unsettling mood with face paint and ritualistic nighttime activities, along with some chilly-looking natural imagery.
