In the midst of his "Dying to Live Tour," Kodak Black has cancelled three forthcoming Canadian dates that were part of the North American trek.
Today, Live Nation confirmed that the rapper's shows in Montreal on April 22, Toronto on April 23 and Vancouver on May 7 have all been cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances." The promoter added that ticketholders could receive refunds at point of purchase.
News of the Canadian cancellations follows the rapper's arrest at the Canada-U.S. border last week, during which he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
At the time, Kodak Black was reportedly held in Niagara County Jail on a $20,000 USD cash bond or $40,000 USD bond. The rapper was later released Thursday (April 18) after posting bail.
Kodak Black and three associates will return to court on May 8.
In the wake of his arrest, Kodak Black missed a show in Boston last Wednesday (April 17), with the last-minute cancellation provoking "generally unruly behaviour" outside the venue.
While the show in Boston has yet to be rescheduled, the rapper's remaining dates in the United States do not appear to be affected.
Kodak Black also faces a charge of first-degree criminal sexual misconduct in South Carolina for the alleged rape of a woman at his concert in 2016.
