Remember the "nu-rave movement that was creeping in last year? Yeah, neither do I. And apparently neither do Klaxons, the faux genres forbearers. The band are currently at work on their follow-up to 2007s Mercury Prize-winning Myths of the New Future. The album is being produced once again by Simian Mobile Disco member James Ford.
In an interview with BBC1s News Beat, Ford talked about the record, saying, "I think they're still trying to push forward so I don't think it's going to sound too much like the last record They're trying to keep it melodic and vocal because that's one of their great strong points.
While no firm release date has been set, fans can brace themselves for what is sure to be the advent of nu-nu-rave or yknow, some other brightly coloured trend.
