Another day, another announcement about a pile of new albums from prolific psych adventurers King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. The Australian band have just announced plans to release three new LPs in October, confirming their prior tease that three more albums would land before the end of the year.
On social media, the band posted a photo of the three records, although the covers were blurred out so as to keep the titles a secret. The respective vinyl records appear to be red, orange and blue.
All three albums will be available to pre-order starting on September 7 at 8 a.m. ET.
These albums will bring the band's 2022 total up to five, following the prior albums Omnium Gatherum and Made in Timeland. It's the second time they've released five albums in a year, tying the pace they set in 2017.
The band recently cancelled UK and European tour dates due to vocalist Stu Mackenzie's "personal health crisis."
