King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have released yet another new song from their seemingly endless well of material. This one, titled "If Not Now, Then When?" also arrives with its own animated video.

Directed by Dr. D Foothead (an Adult Swim collaborator), the new video shows a cartoon girl who harnesses the power of an otherworldly mystical object.

"The song made me consider how individual action or inaction affects the world," Foothead explained of the clip in a statement.

He continued: "What happens when our repressed pain, darkness and confusion manifest and influence our surroundings and relationships? I wanted to explore the journey of a character who has neglected their inner shadow, and how this energy manifests physically and becomes a force of its own."

So far, the single is not attached to any forthcoming record or project, but as time has shown, we're not likely to hear the last of King Gizzard here. "If Not Now, Then When?" follows the release of their two recent albums, K.G. and Live in S.F. '16, both of which arrived last month.
