Rootsy Aussie songwriter Kim Churchill recorded his new album Silence Win here in Canada, and he will go about promoting it by touring the country this fall with Canuck songwriter Mo Kenney.
The joint outing will run for nearly a month through October and November. In that time, Churchill and Kenney will start off in the Maritimes before heading west across the Shield, through the Prairies, and all the way out to the West Coast.
A press release indicates that a couple more shows may be announced — November 11 and 17 are listed as "TBA" — but the confirmed schedule as it currently stands can be seen below.
Churchill will be promoting his album Silence Win. By the time the tour begins, Kenney will have released her new LP In My Dreams, which arrives September 30 through Pheromone/New Scotland Records.
