Kid Cudi is all set to drop his much-anticipated Indicud LP April 23 via Universal Republic/G.O.O.D. Music, but a new interview with the rapper reveals he'll no longer be working under Kanye West's label banner.

Speaking with L.A.'s Power 106 [via XXL] shortly after the station played his "Just What I Am" track with King Chip, Cud confirmed that he had left the all-star imprint, which also features Pusha T, John Legend, Big Sean and more. That said, the artist made sure to let people know he left on, well, good terms.

"Man, everything is cool. Everything is peace. Everything on the label, there's never been any issue, but I am announcing that I am no longer on G.O.O.D. Music," Cudi said, adding that he had spoken with West and explained he wanted to take off in his own direction, to which he got 'Ye's blessing.

"This is just from a business standpoint," he continued. "There's no beef, there's no problem with anybody on the label. It's all love."

He later allowed that he's been sorting out plans to leave for at least the last six months, but still knows he'll be collaborating with his buds even if he's off the roster.

"That don't mean I'm not going to be making music with them, it just means that little baby with that dress on ain't gonna be on my albums," he said, alluding to the cherubic G.O.O.D. Music logo, which he later admitted is one of the freshest.

As previously reported, Indicud features guest spots from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Father John Misty, A$AP Rocky, RZA and more. You can check out the recently premiered "Girls" here.
