Kid Cudi Hits Out at Drake and Kanye West, Declaring "The Days of Fuckery Are Over"

Early last week, Kid Cudi hopped on Twitter to reveal his upcoming LP Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' would be a double-disc affair set for release this month. Today, he shared his feelings on the state of hip-hop.

Perhaps in an effort to build hype for the record, Cudi tweeted "I need yall to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know Im bout to crush their entire existance," before saying "Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them."

Many interpreted the latter bit of commentary as a potshot at rap titans Drake and Kanye West, Cudi's former G.O.O.D. Music boss. They weren't wrong. "My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever," he continued. "These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me."

"Niggas keep you close when they see how powerful you are by yourself. When they see your greatness. Out of fear. I've been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now i'm your threat."

If his tweets are any indication, this next effort could be a wild one. Kid Cudi's last album was 2015's grunge-indebted Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven

While we don't have a concrete release date for Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin', you can read his flurry of tweets below.
