Toronto-based electronic trio Keys N Krates have announced plans for a North American tour, which is scheduled to kick off later this year. To mark their return to live music, the group have also shared a new single titled "Brazilian Love Song."
The group will kick off their 16-date tour in Washington, DC, on November 17, before making their way back home for a show at Toronto's Velvet Underground on November 27. They'll weave their way through the States in December and January, before capping off the tour in New York City on February 12.
As for their new single, here's what Keys N Krates said of the release:
"Brazilian Love Song" is an amalgamation of music styles that we love as a band and have been listening together a lot for the last couple of years. Baile Funk, '70s disco-sounding soundtrack music, Bollywood strings, gospel house, and trap music influences are all smashed together for a dramatic, romantic and feel-good party jam. We were trying to make something undeniably dancey but also not quite identifiable in terms of style.
The group's latest full-length release was 2019's A Beat Tape for Your Friends. Keys N Krates have yet to announce a follow-up album; however, they recently struck a record deal with Last Gang, where they released their most recent single "Take It Off."
