KEN Mode Unveil 'Success' Trailer Ahead of June Release

Metallic Winnipeg three-piece KEN Mode have apparently triumphed in making their previously discussed Success, as the band have unveiled a trailer behind the album, which the band are hoping to release in June.

A teaser to the LP was delivered this week, with the clip presenting a montage of concert footage, flighty insects and more. The brief reveal is also scored by an as-yet-unidentified screech of white noise and unorthodox string bowing. It's as yet unknown if this is music from the album proper, but you can check out the trailer down below.

While a firm street date has yet to be solidified, Success will be issued in Canada via New Damage Records and elsewhere though Season of Mist. As previously reported, KEN Mode tracked the album at Winnipeg's Empire Recording facility alongside esteemed recording engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Shellac, Big Black). Ahead of recording sessions, the band had described Success as "a decidedly stripped-down northern noise rock apocalypse to be unleashed on the world."

The album is said to feature guest appearances from members of Full of Hell and Oxbow's Eugene Robinson. Though the official tracklisting has yet to arrive, previously reported song titles include "Blessed," "Absolutely Not," "Failing at Fun Since 1981," "Dead Actors," "A Catalog of Small Disappointments," "Management Control," "A Passive Disaster," and "I Just Liked Fire."
