In 2014, Kate Bush returned to the stage for her first live shows in 35 years, playing a 15-night residency at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Fans who were unable to attend, or fans who are hoping to relive those gigs, are now in luck — the comeback shows have been compiled into a concert album.
The live record is titled Before the Dawn and is credited as a work by the KT Fellowship rather than simply a solo effort. It will arrive on November 25 as both a three-CD and four-LP set via Fish People, with distribution through Rhino.
The album is divided into three acts, beginning with a career-spanning seven-song set. Act Two follows, featuring a sequence of songs from 1985's Hounds of Love album, including spoken word piece "The Astronomer's Call." Act Three (split across two LPs for the vinyl version), includes songs from 2005's Aerial, a previously unreleased song called "Tawny Moon" sung by Bush's son Bertie McIntosh, encore performances of "Among Angels" and "Cloudbusting," and a "Never Be Mine" from 1989's The Sensual World, which was only ever performed during rehearsals for the live shows.

Until 2014, Bush hadn't toured since her inaugural outing across Europe in 1979.
In an open letter following the London residency, Bush wrote:
"One of the main reasons for wanting to perform live again was to have contact with that audience. They took my breath away. Every single night they were so behind us. You could feel their support from the minute we walked on stage. I just never imagined it would be possible to connect with an audience on such a powerful and intimate level; to feel such, well quite frankly, love. It was like this at every single show."
