Polaris-winning Francophone rockers Karkwa went on hiatus back in 2011, and now they've finally returned. They will release a new album on September 8 via Simone Records, and they've shared a preview of it in the form of the new single "Parfaite à l'écran."

The group haven't shared many details of the new album — not even its title. The album features the return of Kawka's full lineup from their original run: Stéphane Bergeron (drums), Louis-Jean Cormier (guitar and vocals), François Lafontaine (keyboards), Martin Lamontagne (bass) and Julien Sagot (percussion).

Below, watch the video for "Parfaite à l'écran," directed by Xavier Bossé and Cao (Charles-Antoine Olivier). It stars Pascale Bussières. Scroll past the video to see Karkwa's upcoming tour schedule. Tickets are on sale now.

Karkwa's previous album, 2010's Les Chemins de verre, won the 2011 Polaris Music Prize and the JUNO Award for Francophone Album of the Year. They've largely been inactive since 2011, although they've performed with Patrick Watson.
