In addition to possibly getting up to some online pirating, Kanye West has been using his Twitter presence to announce new music. According to the rapper, a new project with 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne is set to drop this Friday (March 4).
West revealed the news this morning in a tweet that also included some morphed-up artwork of 2 Chainz inked up with some of Lil Wayne's more familiar tattoo pieces.
It's presently unclear how in-depth the release will be, but Tity Boi and Weezy have been teasing the arrival of a joint project called Collegrove for a while, now. The title is a portmanteau combining the pair's respective hometown neighbourhoods of College Park in Atlanta and Hollygrove in New Orleans.
The two rappers had teased the project on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month with a performance of their "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday." You'll find a video of the broadcast down below.
With a tracklisting still unavailable, it's also unclear is West's role in Collegrove. At present, it appears as if all will be revealed on Friday.
