Kanye West Is Recording New Music with Pete Rock

After the cancellation of his remaining "Saint Pablo Tour" dates and a brief hospital stay, Kanye West is lying low and continuing his recovery at home. He hasn't stopped creating new music, though, according to a new series of private Instagram posts from producer Pete Rock.

TMZ is reporting that West has been "relaxed and focused" since returning home, and is recording from a studio inside his Bel-Air mansion.

This also seems to be confirmed by one of Rock's recent Instagram videos, which was captioned: "playing 45s in da lab with Kanye West." In addition to footage of potential samples playing in Yeezy's home studio, keen Kanye fans also notice a notepad lying on the boards.

The paper contains a numbered list with the names of 14 videogame titles, though it's currently unclear whether it will serve as a tracklisting for an upcoming album or a list of games the rapper is hoping to rip musical snippets from.

It wouldn't be the first time the rapper incorporated sound from videogames into his music — The Life of Pablo cuts "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2" and "FACTS" both used samples from Street Fighter II, as did Drake's West-featuring "Pop Style."

Back in February, West announced via Twitter that his next album would be named Turbo Grafx 16 after the classic videogame console. This had led some folks out there on the Internet to speculate that this list of titles could be the album's tracklist.

See the mysterious list in its entirety down below, where you can also check out Rock's video clips.

1. Metroid Other
2. Muramasa the Demon Blade
3. New Super Mario Bros
