As promised, Junior Boys have announced quite the Canadian-heavy North American tour. Come March, Hamilton's starry-eyed new romantics will hit the road for two months of live dates, bringing along Domino label-mate Max Tundra as they trek across the Great White North and the U.S.
The Junior Boys dates begin just as the band drop their upcoming third album, Begone Dull Care, which is due out March 24 (April 7 in the U.S.) via Domino. As previously reported, the group's Jeremy Greenspan and Matthew Didemus describe the record thusly: "On Begone Dull Care, there isn't a single sound emitted that feels out of place or like an afterthought. There is a measured restraint that's rarely employed in modern pop music and it's the precision and restraint in the arrangements that only serve to magnify what is there."
As for Mr. Tundra, the UK bedroom popper will drop the second single from his recently released Parallax Error Beheads You LP on March 31 for the track "Which Song," which comes with the B-sides "Gumiknuppel" and "Which Song [Silverlink Remix]."
