Unlike the sudden, surprising release of Josh Ritter's 2011 EP, Bringing in the Darlings, we've had since its December announcement to wait for The Beast in Its Tracks; the anticipation was killing us. Now, its release date is finally within reach. To whet out appetites further, Josh stopped by the Exclaim! office to treat us to performance of "A Certain Light," from his upcoming release, and now we're sharing it with you.
Ritter's intimate take on "A Certain Light" leaves out the full band, and includes only his guitarist, Zack Hickman, who also provided backup vocals in this laid-back, jangly performance.
