Despite his occasional worldly travelling schedule, John K. Samson is a prairie boy at heart, as the Weakerthans frontman's latest video clip for Provincial track "Longitudinal Centre" proves.
The video captures a number of mid-country scenes, from long, empty Manitoba highway shots, to slightly snow-touched farm pastures and broken-down barns. Though not exactly landlocked, there's a short scene of Samson hanging out near a lake littered with rusted boats, with the driving though melancholic rock number finding him pointing out how "the Atlantic and the Pacific are the very same far away."
