After announcing a Canada-heavy North American spring tour last year, Jimmy Eat World have extended their run into August, now joined by the Front Bottoms, Turnover and Joyce Manor for what they've dubbed the "Criminal Energy Tour."
Kicking off in Atlanta on August 8, the band will make their way to 20 cities across North America on the trek. They'll head north of the border to play Toronto on August 18, where they'll be joined by the Front Bottoms and Turnover for a performance at the city's waterfront Rebel venue. Following their solo Canadian date, they'll make their way west across the States, wrapping up in Phoenix on September 5.
Jimmy Eat World have plenty of material to share on their new tour, having just released their 10th album, the "bold, brave and ultimately defiant" Surviving, back in October.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, the band issued the following statement:
Whether we've slept on your floor after the '97 basement show or you've just only recently heard about us, we will have something you'd be into catching live!
Jimmy Eat World's spring tour is coming up next month. That run commences on April 23 in Halifax and sees the band hitting 14 Canadian cities over the course of a month.
