Keeping up a seriously busy release schedule, Waxwork Records has now set its sights on Jerry Goldsmith's classic score to 1976 dystopian sci-fi epic Logan's Run.
Following some teasing, Waxwork pulled back the curtain on the deluxe vinyl reissue this morning, with Goldsmith's complete soundtrack arriving as a sprawling double-LP package. It marks the first time the complete score has ever been released on vinyl.
As Waxwork explains, the score "mixes electronic music and sound design by usage of early modular synthesizers with classic orchestral compositions to create a futuristic landscape."
The reissue features stunning new artwork by Martin Ansin. You can see it for yourself above. The vinyl itself will feature remastered audio and arrive on 180-gram "Palm Flower" vinyl (a.k.a. crystal blue/green & yellow or crystal green & red).
Right now, you can purchase the reissue over here, where you can check out more product shots of the vinyl package.
