Jenny Berkel released her Daniel Romano-produced Pale Moon Kid LP earlier this year, and she's now ready to unveil a new video to accompany album cut "St. Denis."
As Berkel explains, the clip was shot on a giant, scenic deck in Toronto earlier this summer.
"It was one of the first hot and humid days of summer; it was also the first time we added Ben Harney (the bass player) to the band," she tells Exclaim! "We rehearsed the song while Alexei Golob filmed and eventually caught this take, just as daylight was disappearing. Special thanks to Ian Romano and Ryan Fields for their work on capturing the audio."
It's a charming compliment to the gentle folk tune that will leave viewers clinging hopelessly to the final days of summer.
