For those keeping track, former Jawbreaker and Jets to Brazil frontman Blake Schwarzenbach formed a new band called Thorns of Life in late 2008. The trio, which also featured members of Pinhead Gunpowder and an actress from The L Word, were working on their debut LP with producer J. Robbins, but disbanded before they could release anything. Soon after, Schwarzenbach announced an even newer band called Forgetters, who also include former Against Me! drummer Kevin Mahon. Now, Forgetters have finally unveiled their plans for their debut release.
The record is a self-titled EP and will be coming out on the band's own Too Small to Fail imprint this fall. The four-song effort will be released on a double seven-inch, and will feature the song that they named their label after. Very brief samples of the songs can be heard here.
Forgetters' debut release will be out on September 21. The record can be pre-ordered now through Midheaven Mailorder.
Forgetters:
1. "Vampire Lessons"
2. "Too Small To Fail"
3. "Not Funny"
4. "The Night Accelerates"
