At least for now, it seems those Jawbreaker reunion rumours at the beginning of the year were bull, but frontman and punk poet Blake Schwarzenbach will be back in action this fall, having just announced the debut full-length from his current group, Forgetters.
The band, which also features former Against Me! drummer Kevin Mahon, posted a message on their website yesterday (September 9) confirming that they would soon be following up their self-titled 2010 EP with a proper album. While neither a title nor a tracklist have been delivered just yet, the album will apparently drop November 14.
The group will also hit the road sometime around then, noting "We will be operational and playing shows in NYC and far-and-away soon. Will keep you posted."
Forgetters are apparently playing as duo these days, as bassist Caroline Paquita has left the fold.
Thanks to Alternative Press for the tip.
