Though he's made some guest appearances here and there, this is the first original song Britpop's former leading misfit has released since Pulp's disappointing 2001 album Love Life. Now with a wife and child, you'd think Cocker would be ready to settle down. This surprising gem, however, finds him in a surly mood, making a run for his crusty old man facade 20 years early by crooning, "cunts are still running the world in true biting form.
