The last year or so found Janet Jackson in the midst of countless pregnancy rumours, with the singer even postponing world tours to supposedly work on growing that baby bump. However, rumour has now become fact, as 50-year-old Jackson has officially confirmed she is expecting her first child.
Jackson made the announced that she is indeed starting a family with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, to People, who posted an obviously pregnant photo of Jackson.
Speaking to the publication, she simply said, "We thank God for our blessing."
It's unclear at this point when Jackson is due.
The pregnancy news follows some very public tour postponements of her "Unbreakable World Tour," with several of those dates being here in Canada. Jackson's last album was 2015's Unbreakable.
