This San Carlos, CA quartet's debut album is like taking a trip backwards to the height of the Bay Area thrash scene; it is about as honourable a tribute a modern band could make while retaining their own original edge. Led by the strong guitar playing of Steven Rise, and the multi-range lead vocals of singer David Michael, And So It Burns offers up nine originals that could be a lost Forbidden album, and have the potential to become something even better in the future.
