Illogic

After making noise in the underground with Unforeseen Shadows, Illogic returns with his third full-length. Celestial Clockwork combines complex rhymes and a diverse array of beats ranging from the soulful "Birthright” to the melancholy title track. Production credits lie entirely with Blueprint, who exhibits his creativity by flipping classic tracks from both the Who ("1,000 Whispers”) and the Beatles ("My World”). Lyrically, Illogic is just as diverse, spanning topics such as love, life and death. Usual suspects like Aesop Rock, Vast Aire, and Slug all make appearances, contributing their unique flavours to this chunky hip-hop stew.
