Iggy and The Stooges

"Job" (live on 'Colbert')

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 30, 2013

Punk legend Iggy Pop graced the stage at The Colbert Report last night (April 29) for an interview and performance.

Speaking with Stephen Colbert, the rocker discussed his distaste for authority, which led him to playing music. The pair also chatted about Mr. Pop's inability to remain fully clothed, though Colbert did thank him for wearing "almost a shirt."

Following the interview, Iggy was joined by the Stooges for a performance of "Job," from the band's new album Ready to Die. Said "almost shirt" was traded in for a safety vest, which was also discarded quickly.

The record drops today (April 30) via Fat Possum Records.
