Just yesterday (September 25), Glaswegian beat scientist Hudson Mohawke shared "Brainwave," a new single from his forthcoming Chimes EP. Rather than keep us waiting, he's back with another taste.
"King Kong Beaver" doesn't even break the three-minute mark, but it'll have you wearing out the replay button with its impressively nuanced arrangement. There are soft, suave synths and sexy drum work, most noticeably with some punchy kickdrum work. It goes down sweet, but offers some kick — kind of like a bottle of Glasgow's notoriously beloved tonic wine Buckfast.
