With Toronto noise-makers HSY set to finally make their full-length debut with Bask next month, the band have now given the recently unveiled track "Scratch" a video.
The archival-style video that accompanies this scuzzy, aggressive slice of sludge mixes the creepy with the innocent. It features vintage footage of go-carting footage, a Barbie doll, a predatory man leering over a woman, fire, underwater scenes, and various other unsettling images. It was directed by Chris Chami.
In regards to the song, monomymous vocalist Jude explained, "Its basically about being an ego maniac and thinking you're God's gift to women when really your just a smelly 20-something with nothing really to offer anyone. A love song to myself of sorts."
Bask will land on September 11 through Buzz Records.
