Toronto's Housewife are ready to make this house a home with word of a new EP, which they've shared today alongside latest cut "You're Not the Worst."

Thankfully, You'll Be Forgiven on October 14 via Hazel Street / The Orchard. The five-song EP follows the duo of Brighid Fry and Pascale Padilla's 2020 EP Better Daughter, which they released under their former name. Their first collection under Housewife — a more "sonically sophisticated" iteration of the band, according to press materials — features songs co-written with the likes of Joe Memmel, Gabe Simon, Derek Hoffman, RALPH, Hank Compton, Savannah Conley and Jackson Phillips of Day Wave.

Of the new single, which they call "one of the more direct and honest songs we've ever written," the band shared in a statement: "It's about undervaluing yourself and allowing people who are overbearing and arrogant to affect you emotionally. Why am I spending time with someone who doesn't respect me or my time? Then finally working up the courage to cut them out of your life when you've had enough."

You'll Be Forgiven includes previously released singles "Bones (God Like You)," "I'm Spent" and anti-capitalist anthem "Patrick Bateman."

Listen to the punchy "You're Not the Worst" below, where you'll also find the EP tracklist.
