Hillside Unveils 2016 Lineup

Festival season is almost upon us, and long-running Guelph institution Hillside has now unveiled the lineup for its 2016 edition.
 
Celebrating its 33rd year, the festival has pulled together a roster of local and international talent that will perform across a series of stages on Guelph Island.
 
The initial bill boasts (in alphabetical order): Ajinai, Un Blonde, Bahamas Junkanoo Legends, Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers, Buffy Sainte-Marie with the Sadies, Jennifer Castle, Caveboy, Chloe Charles, Choir! Choir! Choir!, the Cosmic Range, Rose Cousins, Dizzy, Emilie & Ogden, Esmerine, Evening Hymns, Fond of Tigers, Grand River Ramblers, Gregory Pepper & His Problems, Holy Fuck, Jerusalem in My Heart, Jesse Mac Cormack, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Kid Koala's Vinyl Vaudeville Show, Land of Talk, the Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Les Hay Babies, Like a Motorcycle, Son Little, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, Mandolin Orange, the McGarrigle Family Sideshow, Casey Mecija, Mekaal Hasan Band, the Milk Carton Kids, Mo' Kalamity, Nap Eyes, Noah23, Northcote , Old Man Luedecke, Ought, Steve Poltz, PUP, Repartee, Rising Appalachia, Andy Shauf, She-Devils, the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, So Long Seven, the Suitcase Junket, SUUNS, TUNS, Valley, Versa, Woodpigeon, Donovan Woods and Xylouris White.
 
The festival runs from July 22 to 24 at Guelph Lake Conservation Area. Tickets go on sale April 30 and will be available at Hillside House in Guelph, Encore Records in Kitchener, Soundscapes in Toronto or online right here. They will also go on sale at the Bookshelf in Guelph beginning May 1.
 
Weekend passes are $146, while single day tickets for Friday are going for $57 and single day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are $85. A senior discount is available, and children under 12 will be admitted free of charge.
