Here's Why Fans Think Drake Is Releasing a Posthumous Collab with Sidhu Moose Wala

There might be a tractor and an owl

Normally, a tractor joining forces with an owl isn't anything worth wishing for. But for fans of Drake and the late Sidhu Moose Wala, that pairing might sound like more of a fruitful musical collaboration than you'd think.

Drizzy is already currently selling shirts commemorating the slain Brampton rapper, who was shot dead in India earlier this year — just like the one he sported at his All Canadian North Stars show last month. Now, fans think this might be hinting at the release of a posthumous collab between the two hip-hop artists.

Besides the natural segue of selling commemorative merch to releasing a joint single-pipeline, a cryptic tweet from D-Teck, CEO of Wazzup Media Group, is raising some eyebrows.

"Be Patient !" the producer, who has worked with artists like Common Kings and Akon, wrote yesterday (August 9). "It's coming," he continued, with an emoji of a tractor and an emoji of an owl, adding: "stop asking me for details."

The Punjabi musician was notably fond of the HMT 5911 tractor model, which prompted his fans to start calling him "5911." Meanwhile, the owl obviously represents the OVO logo; you can see why people would put two and two together here.

Supporters have been eager to see this happen since the day Drake first followed Wala; the level of global exposure could make this hypothetical track the most awaited in Punjab's music history.

Only time will tell, but we'll be keeping our big, beady owl eyes on this.
