Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: K.Lore, Alessia Cara, Amaal

As Snoop Dogg (or whatever he's going by now) once said: Greetings, loved ones — let's take a journey.

New Music Friday has rolled around again, and Canadian artists are not sleeping on this one! Alessia Cara is back with a double-header, BADBADNOTGOOD put out a nine-minute single like it ain't no thing, Amaal goes full #HotGirlSummer and newcomer K.Lore from Colgan, ON, delivers an amazing debut single.

The week also saw big album releases from the likes of Barenaked Ladies, the Zolas, New Chance, Boy Golden and K.D.A.P. (a solo project from Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew). You can check out more highlights from the latest drops on our new Sonos Review Roundup.

For your cover story, we have Bahamas — alongside Scary Pockets — taking on Huey Lewis & the News classic "The Power of Love." What's more, our actual cover star for this month Chiiild gets Jensen McRae on a new mix of his track "Gone." Another cool collaboration comes from Halifax's waants (the new solo project from producer/songwriter Adam Warren) and fellow East Coaster/bedroom pop artist Keeper E.

Ontario is going into Step 3 of reopening and summer's in full-swing! Harness that optimism and sunshine with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
