The Rolling Stones recently detailed a reissue of 1973's Goats Head Soup with some previously unreleased rarities, and the band have now shared a collaboration with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
"Scarlet" follows the previously shared "Criss Cross" and can be heard below. The song also features Blind Faith's Rick Grech on bass.
''My recollection is we walked in at the end of a Zeppelin session," Keith Richards recalled in a statement. "They were just leaving, and we were booked in next and I believe that Jimmy decided to stay. We weren't actually cutting it as a track, it was basically for a demo, a demonstration, you know, just to get the feel of it, but it came out well, with a line up like that, you know, we better use it.''
The Stones' Goats Head Soup reissue arrives September 4. Earlier this year, the band released new song "Living in a Ghost Town." They last released a collection of blues covers called Blue & Lonesome in 2016.
