After getting together to cover Nirvana earlier this month, St. Vincent and Beck have now shared a new remix of a single from the latter's Hyperspace album.
St. Vincent has remixed the album's "Uneventful Days," and you can hear her funky take on the track below.
"I guess I was listening to a lot of '70s [Herbie Hancock] and War at the time and wondering how much funk was inside me, too," Annie Clark wrote on Instagram. "I sent it to Beck and he dug it, but he said 'it should be 3 BPM faster.' And what do you know? HE WAS SO RIGHT. It made all the difference in the groove."
She added, "My friend Cian Riordan engineered it, my friend Sam KS came over to play drums, and the rest is me jamming on guitar and bass and keys."
St. Vincent last released her MASSEDUCTION album in 2017, which got the remix album treatment last month.
