After returning with single "Passive Aggressive" last September, Charlotte Cardin has rolled out another new song.

"Daddy" arrives alongside a Martin C. Pariseau-directed video, which finds Cardin inside Cinéma L'Amour — the last X-rated theatre in her native Montreal — fittingly decked out in a "Daddy" sweatshirt. You can watch her play through the track (and toss back some popcorn) below.

"'Daddy' is a song about kissing your crush right by the open bar," Cardin explained of her latest in a statement. "Your crush's other crush, standing by the shrimp buffet, sees it all. Your crush can't choose between their two crushes, so you jump right in and choose for them. 'Daddy' is a song about knowingly making a bad decision and loving it."

Like "Passive Aggressive," "Daddy" arrives ahead of Cardin's forthcoming full-length debut, due out through Cult Nation. Her most recent project remains 2017 EP Main Girl.
