Long-running imprint 4AD is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the new covers comp Bills & Aches & Blues, where current 4AD artists are covering classic acts from the label. And today we have Side 3 of the collection.
The third side of the compilation features Future Islands covering "The Moon Is Blue" by Colourbox, Jenny Hval doing "Sunbathing" by Lush, Dry Cleaning taking on "Oblivion" from Grimes and Bradford Cox delivering "Mountain Battles" from the Breeders.
As previously reported, Bills & Aches & Blues will arrive as a series of EPs on DSPs before being released in full digitally on April 2, with vinyl and CD versions then following on July 23. A deluxe vinyl box set will also arrive later this year.
