The world can be a chaotic, riotous place, so sometimes it helps to fly away from reality. The Head and the Heart provide a tempting portrait of just that in their new clip for the title track from last year's Let's Be Still.
In the video for this elegant folk rock tune, we see the band retreat to the countryside before donning some fantastical old-tyme outfits — Mumford & Sons, eat your heart out! — and going on a flight in hot-air balloons. They end up jumping out of the balloons, but save themselves with some Mary Poppins-style umbrella theatrics.
The clip was conceived by band member Jonathan Russell and directed by Jon Jon Augustavo. Russell said in a statement, "We are really excited to finally see this video come to light after many months of dedicated work by all involved. Jon Jon and his crew were top notch and it was an unforgettable experience watching and participating in the process step by step through their ability to execute the idea and make it a reality."
