Hayley Williams has managed to maintain one hell of a solo career while keeping the flame of Paramore alive, but the beloved group have been short one member for quite some time. And there's a reason — in a new statement, Williams said that former guitarist Josh Farro's homophobic beliefs were the reason he left the band.

While Williams didn't address any specific posts, she made it pretty clear where she stood on the subject in a pair of tweets posted shortly after:

Josh Farro parted ways with Paramore in 2010. The band's current lineup is Williams, Taylor York and Josh's brother Zac Farro.
