Harm's Way Detail 'Blinded' EP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 24, 2013

Last month, we learned that Chicago hardcore crew Harm's Way had signed with esteemed heavy music imprint Deathwish Inc. to deliver their next EP, Blinded. Now, the band have begun unfurling details about the impending set.

As previously reported, the EP was recorded at the Windy City's Brick Top Recordings by engineer Andy Nelson and has been described as "a crusher of a record, fuelled by vitriol, cynicism and rage." While song samples have yet to arrive, we now know that five songs will preserved on the release, which will be released on 12-inch and CD, as well as digitally.

New tunes "Frontal Lobe" and "Live to Loathe" are further described as Harm's Way "at their heaviest and most adventurous so far." A release has not been set in stone, but info on the street date and pre-orders is expected soon.

You can check out the tracklisting for Blinded down below and peep artist Florian Bertmer's seriously creepy artwork, featuring a distressed horse submerged in water and covered in seaweed, up above. While Canadian dates have yet to be announced, you can check out the band's U.S. and European tour schedule over here.
