Though it'll be without the bulk of the on-hiatus Walkmen, indie crooner Hamilton Leithauser has announced he's heading back out on the road this spring. Another batch of concert dates has been lined up for the artist to further promote his 2014 debut, Black Hours.
The singer-songwriter revealed his latest tour plans earlier today (March 24), explaining that, following a previously announced batch of festival and club appearances out on the U.S. East Coast, he'll be focused on the West Coast come June. Leithauser kicks off the western stint at Vancouver's Venue on June 4, marking his first appearance in the city as a solo artist. He'd previously played Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal.
The West Coast trek finds Leithauser and his back-up band, which includes Walkmen guitarist Paul Maroon, supported by opening act Jack and Eliza. You'll find the full details on Leithauser's itinerary.
Black Hours was issued last spring, among the flurry of Walkmen-related solo activity that also included LPs by Peter Matthew Bauer and Walter Martin. He last delivered the "Room for Forgiveness" single as a free download.
