No Doubt haven't released an album since 2012's Push and Shove, but according to a new interview with Gwen Stefani, there's a possibility that the band will break their decade-long hiatus sometime in the (potentially near) future.
Stefani spoke with the Wall Street Journal ahead of the next season of The Voice, which will be the last featuring her husband Blake Shelton (the two met on set). The Q&A touches on what Stefani sees in her own future, including a potential No Doubt reunion.
When asked whether the band has discussed reuniting, Stefani said:
What are the odds of anything? I was just on The Drew Barrymore Show. She was one of my favourite celebrities when I was a little girl, and now I was just on the show with her. Anything can happen. I have no idea what's going to happen with No Doubt. We haven't really talked about doing anything, but it feels like everyone is, right? All the '90s people — Blink-182 did an eight-month tour that sold out in like five minutes.
Vague, but also not an outright no — and when major reunion-tour money is on the table, it's probably hard to pass up.
Stefani herself seemed poised for a comeback in 2020, when she released a small handful of pretty iffy (okay, kinda just bad) singles that didn't end up going anywhere.
