Guy Picciotto and Jeff Mangum

"Sign the Dotted Line" (live Tall Dwarfs cover)

Last night (November 15), Fugazi guitarist/vocalist Guy Picciotto and Neutral Milk Hotel leader Jeff Mangum teamed up for an acoustic cover of Kiwi pop act Tall Dwarfs' "Sign the Dotted Line," which you can watch in the player down below.

It's a particularly poignant performance, considering the pair played it at the People's Bailout benefit, which was organized by the Occupy Wall Street-linked Strike Debt. The cover is a reasonably straight-forward attempt at the fiscally minded protest song, with Mangum taking the lead vocal for charged lines like "Let's just discard what makes us tick and act as if we're really thick and slow... And sign the dotted line so everything will turn out fine."
