Montreal psychobilly unit Gutter Demons may have called it quits back in 2008, but they're charging back with a new record called Unfinished Business next month. Before the comeback album drops, the band have shared a new clip for "Hellride" — and Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere.
The video was directed by Mr. David Don't and serves as a tribute to '80s B-movies by the likes of Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz of Troma Films. Taking a trip back to Montreal in 1991, the band roll through the town on motorcycles, encountering a series of spooky scenes along the way. They eventually take their spot on the stage of a dingy, underground bar that plays host to a grisly gambling game and a slew of unsavoury characters.
Things get pretty gruesome, but it doesn't deter the Gutter Demons from pummelling through their performance. Scroll past the band's upcoming live gigs to watch it all go down in the player below.
