In a piece of news that comes as no surprise, insanely prolific indie rock vets Guided By Voices have revealed yet another new album. English Little League will arrive on April 30.
This will mark the band's fourth full-length in slightly more than a year, as it follows the albums Let's Go Eat the Factory, Class Clown Spots a UFO and The Bears for Lunch. Just yesterday (December 20), we learned of the existence of a new EP called Down by the Racetrack, due out January 22 via the outfit's own GBV Inc. imprint.
Few details about the latest full-length have emerged, but song titles include "Xeno Pariah," "With Glass in Foot" and "The Sudden Death of Epstein's Ways." That's the album cover above [via Under the Radar].
Guitarist Tobin Sprout previously told Rolling Stone that the band were planning to begin work on English Little League this past summer. Stay tuned for more details to be confirmed.
Thanks to Consequence of Sound for the tip.
