Once again, Grimes is getting ready to hit us up with some new visuals. This time they will come via a new video for the Janelle Monáe-equipped Art Angels track "Venus Fly."
The full video is set to arrive as a TIDAL exclusive on tomorrow (February 2) at noon EST, but right now you can get an idea what to expect via the teaser clip below. As you'll soon see, the Grimes-directed video looks intense, to say the least, as the pair wield flaming swords amongst some intergalactic spacescape as they play out some sort of Final Fantasy.
In the post, Grimes also shared the following message:
Sometimes it feels futile to be making art in this cruel and extreme political climate, but some of the brightest moments of the last few months for me and for a lot of you, I suspect, have come from seeing Janelle Monae's amazing and positive vision of the future, especially when we are being introduced to so many possible dystopian futures. Thanks for giving so much time, energy and creativity to this project.
Oh and if you're all choked that the video will be a Tidal exclusive, Grimes has this to say:

re: people who r angry about the music vid being exclusive to Tidal -they are patrons of the arts! without tidal, there would be no video 🍓
