Cuff the Duke's Wayne Petti is preparing to release a new album from his band Grey Lands, and the project have now rolled out another cut from their upcoming Right Arm.
"Life Itself" is a slinky rock number in which atmospheric guitars and pillowy synth textures are anchored by a hypnotic, low-key drum groove. The real highlight is Petti's falsetto, which is soft and soulful as the singer paints an imploring, romantic lyrical portrait.
Right Arm will be out on September 11 through Paper Bag Records.
