Cuff the Duke's Wayne Petti recently issued the debut album from his side-project Grey Lands via Paper Bag Records, and as the band hit the road in support of Right Arm, they have shared a video for "Another Lie."
The song is a pleasingly straightforward, riff-fuelled tune that makes good a press release's promise that "Right Arm is a throwback to the early days of American indie rock." The video shows performance footage from Petti and his rhythm section, which has been run through staticky black and white filters. There's a subtle political undercurrent, as we see images of smoke-belching factories while Petti dons an anti-Harper T-shirt.
